Granola with yogurt and fruits

This time is the homemade granola recipe that I make almost every week at home.  I’ve tried different recipes, using honey, brown sugar, etc., but I’ve settled on the one I’m sharing today.  This recipe uses oats, nuts, flour, maple syrup, oil and dried fruits.  It’s crispy and fragrant, and it’s very popular with my family, so I keep making it.  Eating it with yogurt and fruit makes for a very healthy breakfast.

It is very easy to make, and cheaper than buying the store-bought products. You can make your own original granola by combining your favorite ingredients such as nuts and dried fruits. Once you make it, you will be addicted to it.  Please try making it!

Then, I will put a link to the nutrition and health benefits of oats, which is the main ingredient of this article, so please read it if you like.

Recipe Tips

As for nuts, I like walnuts, so I use a lot of walnuts. But sometimes I add cashews, pecans, pistachios, etc. So use whatever nuts you like. Place the nuts in a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. You can crush it finely, or  roughly and leave big pieces here and there. Crush it to your liking. You can also add pumpkin or sunflower seeds as well as nuts. In that case, you don’t need to crush it.

Allow the granola to cool completely before adding the dried fruit. Add dried fruits such as raisins, cranberries, blueberries, and cherries. If you have any, add some brightly colored freeze-dried fruit for a beautiful finish.

Store in an airtight jar or container. It’s delicious to eat as it is, but if you eat it with milk, yogurt, or fruit, it’s nutritionally balanced and delicious.
